| Ms. Wilson graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1972. She majored in Health and Physical Education and pursued a minor in Language Arts at the same time and received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) then known as Central State University). She started her post graduate work at the same university and received her Masters as a Reading Specialist in 1992 and then continued on to receive her Certification in Elementary and Secondary Administration in 1993. Ms. Wilson taught for 4 years on the elementary level, 3 years on the high school level and 7 years on the middle school level before entering into an administrative position. She taught Physical Education, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Dance and coached Track, Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball. Ms. Wilson was an Assistant Principal at U.S. Grant High School from 1993-1995 and then again from 2001-2003. She was an Assistant Principal at Capitol Hill High School from 1995-1996 and from 1996-2001 she was the Athletic Area Director. Today Ms. Wilson is one of our Assistant Principals at Douglass High School as well as our site Athletic Coordinator. She enjoys working with the students and the staff at Douglass.
