THIS IS AN "A" WEEK SO FRIDAY IS AN "A"DAY

The Guidance/Counseling Department is once again looking for a counseling assistant.  Ms. McCartney has accepted a position with OU Health Sciences Center College of Medicine .  Friday, December 21, 2007, was her last day at Classen.  If you are interested in an exciting, fulfilling, low-paying job (with health benefits), contact LeAnn Brady at 962-0209.

LeAnn Brady, MEd, LPC, NCC, NCSC
Counseling Chair, Classen School of Advanced Studies

CHANGE OF DATE!  The MAPS plan for Classen will not be on the school board agenda for Monday, January 7.  We now plan for the Classen parent group to attend the next meeting and speak on behalf of Classen.  Every source tells us that high attendance truly affects the outcome of the decisions made, so it is imperative that we have every possible parent, teacher and student attend the meeting on Monday, January 28!  We will continue to spread information over the next two weeks, but for now, switch all those favors you called in to free you up this Monday to the new date!

LOST COMPUTERS

My son's school issued computer was taken today, Tuesday, 12/18, outside of the gym.  His name is Colin Ferguson and his name is on the computer.  Please check to make sure your student didn't inadvertently pick up this computer by mistake.  If you have any information regarding this, please call me at 285-6625.  Thank you, Cari Ferguson

Luke Modrall has lost  his UMPC K20 laptop issued by Ms. Barnett's class.  It looks like everyone else's, black bag, strap, plastic ID tag, etc.  My cellphone number is 405-834-5180 - anyone can call anytime, and also,
