CLASSEN PARENT NEEDS AFTER SCHOOL HELP:  MOM IS NEEDING TO HIRE A RESPONSIBLE STUDENT OR ADULT TO TAKE KIDS HOME AFTER SCHOOL AND STAY WITH THEM UNTIL 5:30 – 6 PM.  THIS WOULD INVOLVE A CLASSEN SAS 8TH GRADER AND HER LITTLE SISTER, WHO IS ATTENDING NICHOLS HILLS ELEMENTARY. RESIDENCE IS OFF OF MAY AVENUE, BETWEEN 122ND & HEFNER.  IF INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT EVA (MOM) @ 759-9654.  THIS COULD BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN OLDER STUDENT.
 
"Kaelyn Neal (Senior '07) was declared the state winner of the Student Composition Competition in the Senior Category by the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association.  Her composition will be forwarded to the regional competition with the state winners from AR, TXand LA." 
 
BASKETBALL NEWS - Varsity Boys and Girls are having a game at Classen on Tuesday Nov 21st: JV Girls 3pm, JV Boys 4:30, Varsity Girls 6pm, and Varsity Boys at 7:30pm.
 
Middle School has games on Mon, Nov 20th - Girls @ 5pm, and Boys @ 6:30.
 
Performances of The Nutcracker will be at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2, at Classen S.A.S. Auditorium, 1901 N. Ellison. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for students high school age and younger. Special school performances will be held on Nov. 28, Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 at 10:00 a.m. Reservations must be made prior to daytime performance dates at 405-962-0265.

Pizza & Pops - Join the Classen Support Our Strings at the Jazz Lab for an evening of Pizza & Pops. Tuesday, November 21, 7:00-9:00pm.

 
Just a couple of days before Thanksgiving, this is the perfect time to come enjoy pizza, salad and drinks along with an evening of music by Classen Orchestra students, auctions and prizes. The students are raising money to go to New York in 2008. Tickets are only $15 for general admission and $25 for reserved seating and can be purchased from any orchestra student, Mr. Pourtorkan (jlpourtorkan@okcps.org) or Paul Lamb (paul@alogic.net).
