To the Classen Family,
I would like to take the time to thank the overwhelming number of
people who lent their support to my family following the burning of
our home. Your kind words and prayers are much appreciated. Thanks
also to all those who donated supplies and money to the cause. The
generosity of the students, faculty, and parents has proven to me,
once again, that Classen is an amazing place. I am so very proud to
work here.

JOHNNIE'S NIGHT - Thursday,October 26,
is Classen Night at Johnnie's on Britton Road.
Say Classen" when you order and they will donate 10% to GAPP 08, our students
going to Germany in 2008.
SIXTH GRADE FUNDRAISER
- The sixth grade has kicked off a Home for the Holidays Gift Sale for
fundraising for Outdoor School for March 27 thru March 30th. Orders
are prepay and items are delivered by UPS or Fedex. Sale ends Halloween.
Charity Ball
is on October 28th at the Gold Dome from 8:00-12:00 (high
school only). Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
ART FIELD TRIP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Karin Stafford needs
some parent volunteers to accompany her on trips to the art museum. She
needs to have 4 parents for each trip. Here are
the dates:
November 2 –
from 1:00 to 2:00
November 14 –
from 12:30 to 1:20
November 15 –
from 1:00 to 2:00

CARPOOL
NEEDED - I am looking for someone who might be able
to offer a ride home after school for my son, Alec Fraser, 10th
grade on Mondays, and every other Thursday and Friday. We live in the
Village, just off Britton and May, If

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL:
Middle School Boys Basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, October
30th. Please remind your child to listen for announcements the week
after Fall Break if they are interested in playing. The boys coach will
be Mr. Rick Young. The first season game is on November 13th.
GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL:
Middle School Girls Basketball tryouts are yet to be announced. The
girls coach will be Mr. Morris Jackson. The first season game is on
November 13th. Please remind your child to listen for announcements the
week after Fall Break if they are interested in playing.
