During Classen SAS PTSAʼs first general business meeting of the school year, held in the auditorium on Tuesday, September 23^rd at 6:30 p.m., members in attendance approved this yearʼs budget, a set of standing rules to improve meeting efficiency, and the creation of a bylaws review committee which is open to all interested PTSA members.

Correspondence from Oklahoma State PTA President, Terri Silver, pronounced our PTSA unit to be in good standing with balanced books.  Standing committee reports included a membership update (currently at 433), and a description of the MAPS Liaison committeeʼs work on identifying facility needs and issues.  Several of our great teachers shared how students have benefited from classroom and instructional enhancement items they purchased through funds provided by generous PTSA donations and allocated through the annual PTSA grant process. 

Our principal and building administrators provided information on upcoming student performances and sports events, as well as on education enhancement and counseling programs.
