Help! We have a piano that we are donating to the Classen choir dept. Unfortunately, I have no way to transport it from my home (1 mile east of Classen) to the school. Does anyone have, or know of, a way to get this piano to its new home? If so, please contact Deborah Duty @ 525-5955.
Ford Center Fund Raising Meeting Wednesday, December 17th 6:30 pm in cafeteria ANY Classen SAS group OR department interested in fund raising for your organization by working in the concession stands at the Ford Center should attend this meeting.
For the past 2 months baseball parents, kids and coaches have staffed concession stands at the Ford Center during Thunder games and other events. A GREAT DEAL of money has been raised for the baseball team. This "experiment" has worked.
This weekend Classen SAS athletic director Ms. Bonner and Classen SAS principal Ms. Harris worked the concession stand. (Thank you two, by the way!) They suggested opening up this opportunity school-wide and set a meeting for this purpose.
Sports groups, arts groups...any Classen SAS groups can attend. Interested?? See you on December 17th.

TEST RESULTS INTERPRETATIONS THE GUIDANCE/COUNSELING STAFF WILL PROVIDE TWO TEST INTERPRETATION WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2009: 1) NOON--12:45 PM IN MR. PAYNE’S ROOM (C110); 2) 6:30—7:30 PM IN MR. PAYNE’S ROOM (C110). THE TESTS COVERED WILL BE THE EXPLORE (8TH GRADE), PLAN (10TH GRADE), PRACTICE ACT (11TH GRADE), AND THE PSAT. PLAN NOW TO ATTEND ONE OF THESE VERY IMPORTANT MEETINGS.
Nutcracker Dance News Classen Dancers in the Nutcracker Classen SAS will not be staging its own Nutcracker this year. HOWEVER, many of our Classen dancers are participating with a professional Oklahoma ballet company who will be presenting the Nutcracker this December. December 13-14 & 19th-21st The NEW Oklahoma City Ballet at the Oklahoma City Civic Center.
Classen dancers participating are: Emily Schmidt; Taylor Orebaugh; Katie Irwin; Regan Shorter; Hillary Richerson; Jennifer Haddock; Anouk Lenaerts; Erin Eskew; Rachel Rodgers; Abbey Hann; Stuart Braud; Rachel Rodgers; Kaylee Lockett; Madeline O'Connor; Lindsey Walla; and Brittany Anderson.

The Classen SAS Band Department would like to invite all our Classen family to our annual Band Winter Concert on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at 7:00pm in the Classen Auditorium. The program will begin with the Beginning Band and end with the award winning Jazz Ensemble. Let us help you get this Holiday season off to a great start.
Congratulations to Doo Yun Her (flute) for making the 7th Grade CODA Band and David Dube for making it as an alternate in the Horn section of the 8th/9th Grade CODA band. They will attend the CODA band rehearsals in January on the campus of the University of Oklahoma.

The Department of Theatre will present Jim Leonard's "Anatomy of Gray." The production will take place in the LAB Theatre C110, December 10th, 11th and 12th at 7:00 p.m. House will open at 6:45 p.m. There will also be two school performances on the 11th and 12th during second hour. Seats are limited for all productions. The LAB Theatre only seats 75 maximum. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
