8th Grade BRIDGING INFORMATION

Three important updates:

1.  We need one childhood photo of each 8th grader for a slideshow to be shown at the Bridging Ceremony.  Producing this video is a time-consuming process, so please respond as soon as possible.  Just find a favorite picture of your 8th grader from years past.  Look for a nice close up in your digital files, save it as a JPEG and e-mail it to Linda Kanter:  lindakanter@cox.net.  If you don't have a digital, you can send a clear 4x6 print to school.  Write the student's name on the back and, if you want the picture returned, write your address and phone number too.  Place it in an envelope and have your child give it to Ms. Cornell, the History teacher.  Please do this today.  We want every student to be represented.

2.  In order to raise money to cover some of our expenses we are selling congratulatory statements in the programs.  $5 buys up to 150 characters.  Moms, Dads, Siblings, Friends, and Relatives can purchase a personal note to their favorite high schooler-to-be!!  Let them know you're Proud!  Support their passage into high school!  See their name in print!  Do it today.

Write you message(s) and put them in an envelope with your check payable to Classen SAS, ($5 per message up to 150 characters each message) and send them to school with your child.  Ms. Cornell is collecting these for us too.

3.  We will be asking for each student to pay for the luncheon, bus ride, and after party (if attending) very soon.  The more congratulatory statements we sell, the lower the per-student cost.

Thanks for your prompt attention to this.
