Parent Teacher Conference Friday, October 3rd Times TBA (Usually from 7:40'ish to 3'ish) Conferences are on a "come-and-go", "first-come-first-served" basis, and will be limited to 15 minutes. If you require more time, you should schedule an appointment outside of Parent/Teacher Conference Day. A lunch break for the teacher will be around 11:30-12:30. More specific information will be posted when received. Stay tuned!

Wednesday, October 1st: Presentation of the Classen SAS PTSA 2207-2008 audit will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at 6:30 p.m. in either the school auditorium or cafeteria.

Fall batting practice is ongoing right now on Monday-Thursday from 2:15-3:15 at Classen in the former pool area (our batting cages). Coach Pickard and Coach Garret are supervising batting practice.

We are collecting BoxTops4Education - our next date to send in BoxTops is October 31 so please bring as many as you, your neighbors, relatives and friends from other schools can collect! There is a light blue collection box in the counselors office area on the bookshelves. We also need all parents to go to the BoxTops4Education.com website and register as a Classen SAS parent. We get $ .50 for everyone who registers - that could add up to a lot of money quickly and cost you nothing!
We do NOT collect Campbell soup labels. Someone has turned several in - if you would like them back to donate to another school you can email me at lpatterson8@cox.net or I will donate them to Cleveland Elementary. We have several students from that school! Thank You for all your support of this program!
**Please Help Our Teachers** Please volunteer for one of the remaining teachers still without a liaison!!!
If you can commit to at least 1 hour a week – please consider becoming a liaison. Your responsibilities would be consistent contact with the teacher, helping them acquire their wish list via group email lists, be a member of PTSA and make yourself available to other parents when need be. We are all very busy, but our teachers give each one of our children so much of themselves; it is important for us to give back to them.
Please do not leave these remaining teachers without a liaison – please volunteer now!!
