AN "A" WEEK SO FRIDAY IS AN "A" DAY
Celebrate
Earth Day, Tuesday April 22nd by Taking Action!
In honor of Earth Day, students, staff, and
parents are invited to join me immediately after school on Tuesday,
April 22nd to do light trash pick up outside around the school.

has generously provided designer gloves and trashbags as part of the
annual LitterBlitz campaign that the City of Oklahoma City
and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality sponsor.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my cell phone
@ 808-2621. Warmly, Terry Fife, 9th Grade Parent

EARTH CLUB RECYCLING
I have
exciting news. We now have a paper recycling bin/dumpster at Classen.
They are paying us to recycle paper and magazines. The money goes to
Classen’s Earth Club and then will be distributed to different clubs and
events within the Classen Community. The bin is located in the alley
behind the cafeteria. Please save your paper products at home and send
them to Classen to recycle.
Diaper Drive to benefit the
Infant Crisis Center of OK
Ambassador Corps is sponsoring a diaper drive for the Infant Crisis
Center. The drive will run thru April 16th. We are
collecting any and all items for infants and toddlers. They are in
desperate need of diapers (all sizes) and formula, but all donations
of any kind will be greatly appreciated.
Donations can be dropped off in the guidance office. Any questions,
you may contact Ms. Curry at 962-0252 or
dmcurry@okcps.org.
Thank you so much for your contributions.
