PTSA Meeting:  The next PTSA General Meeting will be held at 6:00 on Tuesday, March 11 in the auditorium at the school.  The main order of business is to begin the process of selecting the officers for next year.  By either volunteering to serve or by participating in the process, this is a good opportunity to get involved!  Hope to see you there.

NEW CLASSEN SAS T-SHIRTS - The new "One School, One World, One People" t-shirts will be on sale Monday during Parent/Teacher Conferences and Tuesday before and after the PTSA general meeting.  White long sleeved:  $20; white short sleeved:  $15.
 
JOHNNIE'S NIGHT - This thursday, March 6, is Classen Night at Johnnie's on Britton Road.  Say "Classen" when you order (dine-in or take-out) and they will donate 10% to our students going to Germany in June.

High School Baseball Season has started!!!
CSAS/NE combined baseball team will have games EVERY Monday and Tuesday at 4:00 until the end of April.  Games will be played on other days as well, but you can count on each Monday and Tuesday.  Come support your team, and cheer the “ComKings” (not an official name, but it IS a combination of Comets and Vikings) on to V-I-T-C-O-R-Y!

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
 
Monday, March 10 and Thursday, March 13th from 3-6 p.m.  Conferences will be held on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
German Club is going to the Royal Bavarian Restaurant in Moore on Wednesday, March 26.  We need parent drivers.  Please have your student sign up in Room B 305 or email Frau Boudreau at njboudreau@okcps.org if you can join us for dinner.  We will leave from in front of Classen at 6:30 p.m. and return around 9 p.m.  Contact Frau Boudreau for further information

On FRIDAY:
7th/8th grade Girls choir is to meet in Mrs. V’s room in uniform at 7:25.
7th/8th grade Mixed choir is to meet in Mrs. V’s room in uniform at the start of 1st hour (7:40).
 
Students are to bring a sack lunch or enough $ to cover lunch at CiCi’s pizza.  The cost is $4.99 + tax for the buffet only.  If you want a drink, bring extra money.
 
On SATURDAY:
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your schedule performance time.  You must be in line outside your room 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
 
Bring an original copy of your music with every number measured.
 
Dress professionally.
 
If you are using a CD bring your own CD player or pick one up from Mrs. V before your audition time.

If you did not receive a note telling you about Friday, you can contact me TKinOKC@cox. net  and I’ll forward a copy to you.  Please specify which choir your child is in.
If you did not receive a note telling you what time your child is performing on Saturday, please contact Mrs. V at jlvanderlugt@ okcps.org She can tell you what time your child is scheduled to perform.
