12th Annual Gingerbread House contest next week on Dec 6 & 7.  All German classes compete to build "Gingerbread" creations (not all are houses) out of graham crackers.  The staff and faculty judge after school on Friday and the winners will be on display in front of the auditorium the following week.  Parents are invited to stop by and see the works in progress or their finished masterpieces.

INVISIBLE CHILDREN FUNDRAISER - Take the family to eat at the McDonalds on May Avenue just north of NW 63rd this Thursday, November 29, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and the Invisible Children's Campaign will receive 20% of the total sales.  Classen students, parents and faculty will be working the counter that night.

 

 

            The “Lost and Found” closet is PACKED – please ask your child to check the lost and found.  FYI, the “Lost and Found” is on the first floor where the teacher’s mailboxes are.

 

**We are getting into the “Giving Season” and if you are planning to buy something for your teachers – why not buy something they could really use AND something that they have asked for.

The mission of the PTSA Parent/Teacher Liaison Committee is two fold.  First, we are here to help parents stay informed about their children’s school life and secondly, to help the teachers get what they need.  The Parent/Teacher Liaison has been asked to be there for the parents who need information and the teacher who needs volunteers, wish list items, money and/or time contributions to help their classrooms function efficiently.
