THIS IS A "B" WEEK SO FRIDAY IS A "B" DAY

PHYSICAL FORMS - Any student planning to participate in athletics at Classen must have a physical form on file.  Here is a short cut to the form on the OSSAA website. Using this link will ensure you are always using the most current form.

Physicals can be obtained from your own pediatrician or there are several clinics in town that will do physicals for $10.  We have used Brooks Clinic on 13th between Classen and Shartel;  Also Clinica Guadalupe (Classen parent) at 23rd and Classen.

BABY WITH THE BATHWATER - The Classen Drama Department will present its first place award winning one act play on Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the Classen Auditorium.  The cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults.  The cast will compete in the State Competition on Friday at Edmond Santa Fe High School.  The time will be announced as soon as it becomes available.

Classen Parents,
To ensure your student’s safety before and after school, the administration would like to ask that all drivers practice common courtesy and follow some basic traffic laws:
It is illegal to park in these areas:
On any given day there are multiple traffic/pedestrian violations on the streets surrounding Classen SAS. We realize that the traffic cannot be avoided but the hazardous conditions created can be significantly reduced. The congestion is to be expected, but adhering to safe driving practices and following traffic laws of the State are within the control of every driver at Classen SAS.
Our school staff is doing everything we can to keep your children safe while in the school. Please do your part and help keep them safe while delivering them to school.
Thank you
Classen Administration

Did you know that Classen parents have a Yahoo group?  To join, visit  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/classenparents/ and click on 'join this group'.  Be sure and give me a few details in the 'why to you want to join this group' box so that I will know you are a real parent and not someone who just wants to spam the group.  Keep in mind, occasionally things get swallowed up by spam filters, hijacked by cyber gremlins or just plain lost in virtual reality, so if you try to join and feel like it hasn't worked for some reason, please try again and/or contact me.  Patricia Oglesby rpngso@gmail.com.
