What are the minimum requirements to
access my child's grades at home?
Before you
can login to the parent
interface, you need to make
sure your computer meets the
minimum requirements.
Visit the
Requirements page
to view this information.
As with any internet based
program, slower internet
connections may have an
effect on how quickly
information loads in the
parent interface. |

when I try to login?

receive an error similar to
this:
 |

when typing
your userid
and

Make sure
that you are
not mixing
the letter O
and the
number zero
in your

When I
click on the homework tab, I don't see
any homework for a class.
|
The homework
tab provides you with a look
at all assignments that are
labeled as homework.
As teachers add new
assignments to the online
gradebook, they must choose
a category for the
assignment. If a
teacher does not place an
assignment in the
Homework category, it
will not be displayed in the
Homework area of the
parent interface.
Example:
A teacher assigns students
to work on a project over
the weekend. When the
teacher adds the assignment
to the online gradebook, she
can choose from many
different assessment
categories. In this
example, she chooses to
place the assignment in the
Project category.
This assignment will not be
listed under the Homework
section of the parent
interface. If the
teacher has not recorded a
grade or the student scored
a zero, the assignment in
this example will display in
the Assignment
section of the parent
interface.

Why
did this assignment just
show up for my child? |

Why did an assignment just now show
up?
When a
teacher enters a new
assignment in the online
gradebook, they have control
of how the assignment is
displayed in the parent
interface. The teacher
has the ability to restrict
details or exclude an
assignment from the parent
interface. This can be
due to several reasons:
- The
teacher places all
assignments for the
entire nine weeks into
the gradebook at one
time and does not want
all of the assignments
to be viewed.
- The
teacher may wish to
record ALL grades
for an assignment before
publishing it.
- The
teacher anticipates that
the score on an
assignment may change.
- The
teacher does not want
students to know about a
scheduled assignment.
If you
have questions about
assignments in a class,
please email the teacher. |
