SUPPORT   Know what's happening.  Make choices.  It's your child that will benefit.  PTO devotes its energy to projects that raise money for necessary things, like new chairs for the classrooms, playground equipment, benches for outside, landscaping and so much more.   Turkey Bingo, Santa Workshop and Ham Bingo are very important fundraisers and your support is appreciated.   Getting Involved can be something as simple as saving BOX TOPS. This can earn plenty!  There are hundreds of products with box tops which give us 10cents for each box top! To find out which products click here.

JOIN PTO TODAY! It's a great way to get to know the parents of children in your child's grade.  It's a great way to learn more about what's gong on in school. It's a great way to help improve our school. It's a great way to share ideas and interests. It's a great way to get to know our community. It's a great way to make your voice heard. It's a great way to make a difference! Here is an opportunity to build that important connection between home and school.      GET INVOLVED! Getting involved in your child's school has long lasting and positive effects on both their academic performance and their overall attitude about school. Studies show that there are tremendous benefits to students, schools, and community when parents/guardians are involved in their children's education...they tend to have better social skills, do better in school, have fewer discipline problems, and are more likely to graduate and further their education after high school. The more parents/guardians who are involved in education, the better for students achievement. From lessons at home...to volunteering...to fundraising and decision making at school.   FUNDRAISING GOES A LONG WAY! We  help fund BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT, SUPER KIDS DAY and provide food and surprises during STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK.  We give parties for the winning classes of Box Tops and Membership Drive. Our fundraising dollars help us to help the school and the children that go here...with purchases of classroom supplies, audio systems, speakers for smart boards, and more...the list goes on and on. Naturally, all of these are dependent on fundraising events. So we want to say Thank You for supporting these wonderful fundraisers, and all you do, with your time, talents and cash. It's free!     Dollars For Schools: (Homeland/Country Mart) How you can help Ridgeview Elementary School earn cash...take your Homeland One/Country Mart Card and have the cashier key in our ID number 62036 scan your card during a transaction, and after that every time you use that card our school will automatically receive credit. Just be sure to use your card when you shop so that our school gets every credit possible.           RECYCLE: (Paper Retriever) You can help recycle paper at our campus 7 days a week. We earn money for paper dropped off at our green and yellow Abitibi Paper Retriever bin. This is an easy way for you to recycle your paper every week and help us raise money for projects like playgrounds, landscaping, books and other worthwhile activities. Please remember to bring your paper and drop it in the Abitibi Paper Retriever bin. This bin is free to use, just bring us your paper! We accept: Newspapers, Magazines, Shopping Catalogs, Office and School Papers, Mail, Paper Bags...If it's paper drop it in! PLEASE ...No Metal, Plastic or Glass. Please add recycling to your errand route and bring your paper by once a week-help your school and the environment!
