Here's an idea: Count cars as you drive down the road...how many are red, yellow, white or blue? How many are trucks, slug bugs or SUV's? This is a great way to learn classification.

Here's an idea: Get a bag of Skittles or M&M's and have your child guess how many different groups of colors there are in the bag...this will teach your child probability and estimation.
