What Learning Programs does your child use at Parker?

Accelerated Reader

Kids Love Books!  Each child may check out up to three books from the library.  When your child finished a book, she may take a test and earn points for prizes!

Voyager Passport

Whatever your child is missing in the area of phonics, he will learn using Voyager.  Children learn to comprehend, or understand, all types of reading selections.

V-Math

Basic Math and Problem solving are the focus of V-Math.  Both passport and V-Math are available for Home Use on the computer!

Houghton-Mifflin Reading and Math

These are basic textbooks used throughout the OKC School District.

How are kids learning the material?

• Small Groups (four or five children working on the same skill)

• Individualized Instruction (one-on-one teaching)

• Whole-Group Instruction (total classroom introducing or reviewing the same skill)

• Active Learning (games, activities, and 3-dimensional tools for learning)
