Britton Elementary School was built in 1931. We have a student  body of 375, and a strong and positive staff membership of 26. We maintain a healthy and happy environment for our children and believe that “Children Come First!” Through the belief in and commitment to the educational concept that “All Children Can Learn,” we will enable our Britton students to develop intellectually, physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout each level of the educational process as successful and productive members of society.
 

Britton Elementary School Creed

I will always strive to do my best. I know I have the ability to succeed. I alone must determine what I will, can, or cannot do. Failure is just as easy to fight as success is to obtain. I will use each day to the fullest, and I promise that each day shall be gained, not lost, used, not thrown away. I will look for goodness and character in others and will aspire to reflect the same qualities in myself. I must respect and care about myself, before I can expect this from others. No one can give me success or happiness, I must achieve this for myself. Education is my greatest opportunity, and its rewards will continue throughout my lifetime.

 Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement exemplify the goals and learning objectives expressed by our principal and staff on each grade level of the learning process. Through their commitment, we as students have at our disposal the greatest opportunity to perpetuate from their mentorship, and develop into productive students in our educational environment here at Britton.
