Developing a successful Elementary School program here at Britton Elementary requires thinking strategically about what is best for our students, staff and community. This is the foundation on which the Bison Buddies was created here at Britton. To materialize the Bison Buddies into an actual reality based mechanism. We went to the source of our school environment, the parents and the business community. The format of this magnificent program is setup on a volunteer basis. We ask our parents to assist and various businesses to visit our school for no less that forty minutes, and to function in the capacity required to meet the needs of the said activity or promotion here at Britton Elementary. The activity that they participate in may vary from reading a story to a particular grade level, being principal for the day, to helping us cook popcorn for our weekly classroom fund raisers. It is our belief here at Britton Elementary, that the Bison Buddy program is one of the most effective public relations tools and information clearinghouse for targeting the perfect audience to patronize Britton Elementary and to get the necessary support and approval in order to generate business and community interest in our school.
Seen in the picture above, is one of our most recent Bison Buddies Mr. John Fiebig, he works for Arthur Anderson & Company. During the second week of October, Mr. Fiebig was our principal for the day. He was in and out of classrooms all day with Mrs. Zachery meeting both the children and staff members here at Britton Elementary. Mr. Fiebig expressed a positive demeanor with our students, as well as a genuine interest in their classroom activities.
Together We Stand at Britton Elementary. Divided We Fall, we will continue to provide unity in our community, for one and
all .
