Our PTA president this year (2008-2009) is Christina Johnson.  Please make sure that you are familiar with all of our PTA officers.  Don't be bashful.  If you have any ideas or concerns, don't hesitate to bring them to the attention of the PTA officers.  They can help make your ideas or concerns be heard with school staff and other parents.  Arthur will be doing it's annual PTA membership drive from August 21st until October 31st, 2008.  You can join the PTA any time, however we must report our membership for the first time by Oct. 31st and we concentrate our efforts during this time.   Membership is just $3.00 and gives you membership in not only Arthur PTA but also the State PTA.

Last school year, Arthur had the highest membership in our feeder pattern.  We would love to keep that title and raise our membership to equal our enrollment this year so that we can claim 100% membership.  If you haven't joined, please make an effort to do that on enrollment day.  You should watch for frequent notes and calendars to come home during the year.  These will let you know about all of the PTA activities and needs during the year.  As always, if you want to help or hold an office for the 2009-2010 school year, please let someone at the school know.
