King Elementary School was closed after the 2002-03 school year as part of the Maps4Kids Plan.
Under the plan, Longfellow Elementary School was demolished and King was rebuilt on the old Longfellow site as a PK-8 school.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School re-opened for the 2006-07 school year.
Therefore, there is not historical data for the new ML King Elementary.

Safe Harbor (SH) can be achieved by:
bulletdecreasing the percent of students scoring below satisfactory by 10% and making progress, or
bulletexceeding the additional indicator performance target, or
bulletdemonstrating a 10% increase in the difference between the previous year’s math and/or reading/language arts API score(s), and the upper API limit of 1500 (New amendment allowed for 2003-2004).

A Confidence Interval (CI) is generated for schools or districts without an n of 30 for All Students.  A confidence interval may be applied to the current year’s math or reading scores in order to make an AYP determination.
