Fall Carnival

A fun filled evening in the courtyard to be held on Tuesday, October 17^th from 5:30-7:30. Help will be needed with game set up and take down, 1 hour shifts working at games, selling tickets, pizza & drinks, etc. Help acquiring items for games and booths before the carnival.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MEN TO CHAIR

An afternoon for parents and friends to play golf at a local club/park. Help is needed with tee sponsors, facility preparation, fundraising, and publication. Help with organizing teams and available on the day of the event.

CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS

After the teachers identify students who need extra help, tutors meet with a student during the school day, once a week for 30 minutes. The meeting time can be chosen to fit your schedule, and it’s a great way to make a difference in that student’s life….and to help the teacher, who is trying to keep the student caught up with the class. Let us know which days are best for you to tutor and either morning/afternoon.

5^th Grade Bridging Ceremony

Help with the planning and preparation, set up, take down of all of the 5^th grade ceremonies during May of 2007. Also assist the 5^th grade teachers with 5^th grade activities and class trip to Camp Classen.

S.H.A.R.E. READING

To be responsible for a grade of S.H.A.R.E. reading sheets. Each volunteer is responsible for turning into the chairman each student’s hours read with a log of their sheets. Then provide a 9 week report to the child’s teacher which will then be given to the student’s parents.
