The campaign to build a $1
million state-of-the-art, multipurpose recreational facility for Nichols Hills Elementary School
will greatly enhance the quality of education, arts curriculum and physical
space for the children in our community, who are outgrowing our national Blue
Ribbon School building.
Generous donors have pledged
$594,340 toward the construction of this facility, and we have a commitment of
$100,000 from a local foundation if we can reach our goal of $1 million by June 30, 2007.
We only need to raise $305,660 to take advantage of the challenge grant and
begin construction.
Our
vision is to make Nichols Hills Elementary one of the top 50 elementary schools
in North America. We have outlined a course
where we can qualify to become an International
Baccalaureate School,
which would make us the first such elementary school in Oklahoma, public or private. The teaching
staff at Nichols Hills has begun training to become qualified for this
designation. The teachers need our help raising money to take our facility to
the next level, which will eliminate competition for space among many programs
and activities.
This is the opportunity for
you to be a part of this project. Please consider your tax-deductible
contribution to our community.
Sincerely,
Carol Berry Carol
